When frightened or even surprised, their muscles go completely stiff and the goats fall over. The reaction causes no pain and the goats recover after 10-20 seconds. Myotonic goats suffer from a condition called myotonia congenita, which causes their muscles to stiffen involuntarily.

It is found in western Thailand and southeast Myanmar, where it occupies limestone caves along rivers. Kitti’s hog-nosed bat is about 29 to 33 mm (1.1 to 1.3 in) in length and 2 g (0.071 oz) in mass. They’re in danger due to deforestation in their native Thailand.
