Ultra Slow Motion Footage of 11 Different Insect Species Flight

It’s very difficult to see the flight of an insect flying with our bare eyes because we don’t happen have a 3,200 fps slow-motion camera in our eyes. It would be so cool if we can watch that isn’t it?

A brilliant scientist at the North Carolina Museum of Natural Sciences, Adrian Smith of Ant Lab,  has a fascination with flying insects, he says its amazing to see a bunch of insects spreading their wings and take off. He shot a series of ultra slow-motion footage that captures the incredible sight of unusual insects as they spread their wings and take flight. In this video, Smith takes a look at the flight of 11 different insect species from five different taxonomic orders.
